For over 35 years, Walnut Creek Country Club and the Battle of the Nines committee have presented the annual Charity Classic Tournament.
Since its inception, over $900,000 has been donated to various persons and organizations in the Mansfield area.

Donated money to three Mansfield families who are coping with cancer and struggling financially.

Provided Christmas for 12 kids from Mary Orr Intermediate School (clothes, toys, food, etc.).

Helped a teacher in MISD who lost her husband suddenly to kidney failure, BOTN assisted with funeral expenses and medical bills.

Aided family by monetary donation when an MISD coach diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, facing mounting medical expenses.

Helped a MISD teacher battling breast cancer and liver cancer. She has been overwhelmed with bills and other expenses.

Helped a young mother rebound from her 3rd bout with cancer. Only in her mid-20’s and she is struggling with mounting medical bills, limited ability to work all while trying to be the best mother she can.

Assited a 14-yr old who battled childhood cancer and is now struggling with the side effects of the radiation.

When an 8-yr old girl was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumor, it left the family with medical and physical therapy bills that we were able to help with paying off.

Assisted financial help for 19-yr old who lost her mother and is left to provide for her 4 younger brothers.
